Our MissionTo provide our communities with alternative training methods to that of harsh, forceful, compulsive, painful and coercive techniques. To support like-minded professionals in their continuing educational development in mechanical skills, clinical interviewing, clicker training, behavioral analysis, behavioral genetics and more. To offer a safe-haven for positive and humane trainers and to form a supportive network.
Group ProfileSBT is a network of animal professionals committed to humane and positive methods. The group was founded in 2003 by Daphne Robert-Hamilton. Some of our members are certified through the Certification Council of Pet Dog Trainers, some are members of the International Association of Animal Behavior Counselors, some are members of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, some are AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluators.
